Amazon.com has updated their pre-order incentives for the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins and with it comes the mercenary Deathstroke as a playable character in the game. Their banner advertisement, pictured below, indicates a pre-order of the game from the retailer will include Deathstroke DLC in addition to $10 credit to the website. Whether Deathstroke will be playable in the game’s primary storyline or in the challenge maps like previous characters in the franchise remains to be seen. Games Montreal, Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline occurring several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City’s most dangerous villains and assassins, the game showcases a young, raw, unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. As the story unfolds, witness identities being formed and key relationships being forged.
