Lionsgate has picked up the film rights to an original superhero created by Stan Lee, reports Variety. Alfred Gough and Miles Millar will write, direct and produce the film through their Millar/Gough Ink production company.
The trade says that “[d]etails of the untitled project are being kept under wraps, but it’s described as a multigenerational superhero movie that spans several decades.”
Lee and Gil Champion will produce through their POW! Entertainment.
Gough and Millar’s previous credits include “Smallville,” Spider-Man 2, Shanghai Noon and its sequel Shanghai Nights, as well as I Am Number Four.
