Zack Snyder's Superman movie Man of Steel has moved from Plano, Illinois to Chicago, where the production will start shooting today for the next 10 days through September 17. After that, the production will head to Vancouver for the rest of the shoot.
Chicago Business reports that the Chicago Board of Trade building (previously used for Wayne Tower in Batman Begins) will be used as The Daily Planet in the movie, while Willis Tower in the city will serve as the newspaper's interiors.
Man of Steel, starring Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Russell Crowe, Julia Ormond, Christopher Meloni, Harry Lennix and Laurence Fishburne, hits theaters on June 14, 2013.
