Based on the comic book series by Joe Hill and distributed by IDW Publishing, “Locke & Key” tells of Keyhouse, a New England mansion with fantastic doors that transform all who dare to walk through them. The building is also home to a hate-filled and relentless creature that will not rest until it forces open the most terrible door of them all.
Stahl is set to play Duncan Locke, the brother-in-law to Miranda Otto’s Nina Locke, the matriarch of Keyhouse. Also in the cast is Sarah Bolger as Nina’s daughter, Kinsey Locke. Mark Romanek (One Hour Photo and Never Let Me Go) will be directing the pilot.
Stahl is best known for appearances in Sin City and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. He appears in theaters this Friday in New York and LA as part of the ensemble anthology Burning Palms.
