In the late 1990’s, Warner Bros. began development on a project called Superman Lives. The film would have been directed by Tim Burton with a script from Kevin Smith and Nicolas Cage was even signed on to play the lead. Stories about the project and its ultimate cancellation are infamous, but official images from the pre-production have mostly been kept under lock and key.
