Disney’s Destination D23 event is happening this weekend, and its Walt Disney Studios showcase promises to feature a ton of big announcements from what Disney has planned for not only the rest of the year, but the future as well.

While nothing has officially been confirmed for the show, Disney is usually known for bringing some surprises to its event. Fans have also already theorized about what to expect. Marvel Studios projects like Marvel Zombies and Wonder Man have been popular guesses, as well as popular upcoming Disney projects like Pixar’s Hoppers, Zootopia 2, and the next Avatar movie.

What date in the D23 2025 Showcase Preview and what time does it start?

Destination D23 is set to take place this weekend, August 30-31, 2025, at Coronado Springs at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. The Walt Disney Studios showcase is set to take place at 9:15 a.m. EST, where Disney will likely show off a ton of what it has in store for the future.

Unfortunately, Disney’s studio showcase will not be streamed to the public. While there will be a number of panels and events happening during the event, only a select few will be livestreamed. Panels on Saturday, August 30, will begin streaming at 10:30 a.m. EST, while streams on Sunday will begin at 1:45 p.m. EST.

How do you stream the D23 2025 Showcase Preview?

Disney will be making a handful of panels for the upcoming Destination D23 available online. These panels will be livestreamed from Destination D23’s website, but there is a catch. The streams are exclusively available to D23 Gold Members, as part of an “exclusive digital event.”

For those looking to join D23 as a Gold Member, there are several plans available. The cheapest, Disney’s Gold Member Essential Plan, will run you $50 a year, and includes things like a special member card, pin, magnet, and access to various D23 Gold Member events. There are pricier options as well, which include things like extra premium items.
