Marvel Cinematic Universe fans will soon be able to get their photo taken with an angry Red Hulk at participating movie theaters. Ahead of Captain America: Brave New World’s premiere in February 2025, a new theater stand for the MCU movie has been unveiled, featuring a life-sized Red Hulk replica standing on crushed asphalt.
The backdrop accompanying the replica confirms that this is supposed to be a recreation of a key fight scene between Red Hulk and Sam Wilson/Captain America, which has been heavily teased in marketing materials for Brave New World.

Who is playing Red Hulk in the MCU?
The superpowered alter ego of Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, Red Hulk will be played by Harrison Ford in Captain America: Brave New World. Ford’s casting was announced in October 2022. He replaces William Hurt in the role, who portrayed “Thunderbolt” Ross in the MCU until his death in March 2022.
Ford recently opened up about replacing Hurt as Ross, admitting that he was “a little concerned” about taking over the role. “I was ambitious to find the right way of assuming this character after the audience had seen other people doing it. I’m only slightly familiar with the Marvel Universe — I live in another universe — but I have watched a number of Marvel films with wonderful actors, apparently having a good time,” he shared in December 2024. “And I thought, ‘Well, why not me?’”
In Captain America: Brave New World, Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) finds himself at the center of an international incident following the election of Thaddeus Ross as the president of the United States and must work to stop the true masterminds behind it.
Besides Ford and Mackie, the cast for Brave New World includes Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres/Falcon, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns/Leader, Shira Haas as Ruth Bat-Seraph, and Giancarlo Esposito as Seth Voelker/Sidewinder, among others.
Captain America: Brave New World opens in theaters on February 14, 2025, as part of Phase 5 of the MCU.
