Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool returns alongside Kidpool in a new Christmas video for charity that also includes an appearance from Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter.
Reynolds recently reprised his role as Wade Wilson in 2024’s Deadpool & Wolverine, which co-stars Hugh Jackman. In November 2024, Reynolds shared an Instagram story teasing that Deadpool may be returning sometime soon for a Christmas-related project, though no details were revealed at the time.
On X, Reynolds has shared a video that sees him stepping back into the role of Deadpool. Check out the video below:
What happens in the Ryan Reynolds Deadpool Christmas video?
The video sees Deadpool and Kidpool delivering presents to children on Christmas Eve. Noting that they are “technically R-rated” characters and “these are kids,” Deadpool enlists the help of Carter. Carter attempts to transform into her Wonder Woman costume; however, she finds herself wearing an ugly Christmas sweater instead.
When Carter asks who gave her this outfit, Reynolds responds, “The DC lawyers, I know it.”
The video is made for the SickKids Foundation, an organization based in Canada that invests “in health and scientific advances to improve the lives of children and their families in Canada and around the world.”
Reynolds and Blake Lively are matching donations of up to $500,000 from now until midnight December 24, 2024, for the SickKids Foundation. Click here to learn more about the organization or to donate.
