Following the theatrical release of 2023’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, its planned sequel Beyond the Spider-Verse has suffered setbacks during its ongoing production, including a delay in its original release date. The third installment was originally slated for a March 29, 2024 release. However, Sony Pictures ultimately decided to remove it from its theatrical calendar.
What happened to Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse’s script?
According to a brand new report, the original script for Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse was reportedly scrapped by Sony Pictures after the 2023 sequel was released.
