Spider-Man 4: Tom Holland MCU Sequel Gets Official Release Date

Spider-Man 4 has been given an official release date.

Tom Holland is returning to play Peter Parker in another Spider-Man movie. This will be Holland’s fourth solo MCU film following 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home, and 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home.

When is Spider-Man 4’s release date?

Per Variety, Spider-Man 4 will be released in United States theaters on July 24, 2026.

Plot details for Marvel and Sony’s Spider-Man 4, along with an official title for the movie, are being kept under wraps at this time.

It is being directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who previously made 2012’s I Am Not a Hipster, 2013’s Short Term 12, 2017’s The Glass Castle, 2019’s Just Mercy, and 2021’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

The July 2026 release date means Spider-Man 4 will arrive less than three months after Avengers: Doomsday, which releases on May 1, 2026. It has not been officially confirmed whether or not Holland will appear in Avengers: Doomsday at this time, though it’s known that Robert Downey Jr. will play Doctor Doom. Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach will also reprise their Fantastic Four roles in the Anthony and Joe Russo-directed ensemble film.

Additionally, Marvel Studios has another unannounced movie that is scheduled to arrive on November 6, 2026, while Avengers: Secret Wars is coming on May 7, 2027.

Just one week prior to Spider-Man 4’s release date, Holland will also be seen starring in Christopher Nolan’s next, still untitled movie. That film is currently scheduled to come out on July 17, 2026.

Holland recently announced that Spider-Man 4 was going to begin filming next year. He also recently told Good Morning America that the idea of Spider-Man 4 is “crazy” and will be “a little different to anything we’ve done before.”
