Three new Marvel Studios movies have been given 2028 release dates.
Marvel Studios has officially announced three release dates for three forthcoming MCU movies. It is not clear what movies they are at this time, as they are currently just listed as “Untitled Marvel.”
The release dates for the untitled Marvel projects are February 18, 2028; May 5, 2028; and November 10, 2028.
At the same time, Marvel Studios announced that the long-awaited Blade movie will no longer be released on November 7, 2025. The film currently has no release date, while Predator: Badlands is taking its spot and will now be in theaters next fall.
What’s next for Marvel Studios?
The next Marvel Cinematic Universe movie will be Captain America: Brave New World, which will be released in United States theaters on February 14, 2025. Directed by Julius Onah, the movie sees Anthony Mackie reprise his role as Sam Wilson/Captain America. It also stars Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres/Falcon, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Giancarlo Esposito as Seth Voelker/Sidewinder, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns/Leader, and Harrison Ford as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross/Red Hulk.
Following that, Thunderbolts* arrives on May 2, 2025. The ensemble movie’s roster includes Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova, Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes, David Harbour’s Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, Wyatt Russell’s John Walker/U.S. Agent, Olga Kurylenko’s Antonia Dreykov/Taskmaster, and Hannah-John Kamen’s Ava/Starr Ghost.
Then, on July 25, 2025, Marvel’s First Family will officially be introduced into the MCU in The Fantastic Four: First Steps. The movie will see Pedro Pascal play Reed Richards, while Vanessa Kirby is playing Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn is playing Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach is playing Ben Grimm.
Anthony and Joe Russo are also helming two new Avengers movies, with Avengers: Doomsday scheduled to hit theaters on May 1, 2026, and Avengers: Secret Wars on May 7, 2027. There are also two other still-untitled Marvel projects coming out in 2027 as well.
Upcoming Marvel Television series include Eyes of Wakanda, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Daredevil: Born Again, and Ironheart.
