Green Lantern, the Flash, & More Featured in New Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League Trailer

A new trailer for Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League has been released.

Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League is a new DC animated movie from Warner Bros. Japan. Serving as a sequel to 2018’s Batman Ninja, the film will be released in 2025.

What happens in the Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League trailer?

The trailer, which was shown at the film’s panel at New York Comic Con 2024, sees Batman back home in Gotham. A mysterious storm seemingly followed him home after his time in medieval Japan, however, as Yakuza members suddenly begin falling from the sky. Green Lantern, Aquaman, and The Flash have also turned into Yakuza and serve as an extra threat that the Dark Knight has to face.

Those attending the New York Comic Con event also got to see the first 10 minutes of the film.

The Japanese voice cast for Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League includes Koichi Yamadera as Batman, Yuki Kaji as Robin, Kengo Kawanishi as Red Robin, Daisuke Ono as Nightwing, Akira Ishida as Red Hood, Ayane Sakura as Green Lantern, Akio Otsuka as Aquaman, Nobuyuki Hiyama as The Flash, Romi Park as Wonder Woman, Rie Kugimiya as Harley Quinn, Wataru Takagi as The Joker, Hochu Otsuka as Alfred Pennyworth, Masaki Terasoma as James Gordon, and Kazuhiro Yamaji as Ra’s al Ghul.

The English dub voice cast has not yet been announced.

Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League is co-directed by Jumpei Mizusaki and Shinji Takagi. Kazuki Nakashima wrote the screenplay, while the character design comes from Takashi Okazaki and the music from Yugo Kanno.

Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League will be released on digital platforms and Blu-ray in 2025 from DC, Warner Bros. Japan, and animation studio Kamikaze Douga.

Batman Ninja, meanwhile, is currently available to rent or purchase on platforms such as Apple TV+, Amazon Prime Video, and more.
