Hugh Jackman Shares Emotional Reaction Video From the First Time He Watched Deadpool & Wolverine

Hugh Jackman has shared a video that sees him emotionally reacting to Deadpool & Wolverine for the first time.

Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine opened in United States theaters in July 2024. The film stars Jackman as Wolverine, Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, Emma Corrin as Cassandra Nova, and more.

On X, Jackman shared a video showing his reaction after he watched Deadpool & Wolverine for the first time.

What does Hugh Jackman say in the Deadpool & Wolverine reaction video?

While Jackman appears to be at a loss for words, director Shawn Levy can be heard saying, “I don’t really know what to say. I’m so happy that you are happy, gratified, and proud of your work.” Jackman responds, “I am.”

Levy continues, “Because we marvel at your work. We watch it time and again, and we say lines alongside you, and we marvel at the moments that you craft. It’s just, what a blessing to do it together.”

Following Levy’s comments, Jackman notes, “I cannot wait to see this with an audience. I cannot wait for the fans to see this. It’s just like heroin in their eyeballs.”

“That should be the subtitle,” Levy agrees. “Deadpool & Wolverine: Heroin in Your Eyeballs.”

“Six years after the events of Deadpool 2, Wade Wilson is retired as the mercenary Deadpool and lives a quiet life until the Time Variance Authority (TVA)—a bureaucratic organization that exists outside of time and space and monitors the timeline—pulls him into a new mission,” reads the official synopsis for the film. “With his home universe facing an existential threat, Wilson reluctantly joins an even more reluctant Wolverine on a mission that will change the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).”

Marvel’s Deadpool & Wolverine is currently playing in United States theaters.
