Marvel Announces 2027 Release Dates for 2 Secret Movies

Marvel has given a pair of ambiguous, currently untitled movies 2027 release dates.

While Avengers: Secret Wars is scheduled to be released in United States theaters in May 2027, Marvel Studios has now announced release dates for two additional projects that will be coming at a later date.

One untitled Marvel movie will open in theaters on July 23, 2027, while another one will follow on November 5, 2027.

What could the mystery Marvel movies be?

There’s no word regarding what these movies may be about or who stars in them as of yet, though there are a number of Marvel projects that do not have release dates, including Armor Wars, a Spider-Man: No Way Home sequel, a Shang-Chi and the Ten Rings sequel, and an X-Men film.

Prior to that, Marvel will release Captain America: Brave New World, which sees Anthony Mackie reprise his role as Sam Wilson/Captain America, in February 2025. That will be followed by Thunderbolts* in May 2025, which rounds out Phase 5 of the MCU.

The MCU’s Phase 6 kicks off in July 2025 with The Fantastic Four, which stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. The long-awaited Blade movie with Mahershala Ali is also currently scheduled for November 7, 2025.

Then, on May 1, 2026, Marvel fans will get to see Avengers: Doomsday, which is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, and will see Robert Downey Jr. play the role of Doctor Doom. It has been revealed that Pascal, Kirby, Quinn, and Moss-Bachrach will reprise their Fantastic Four roles in both Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.

A number of Marvel television series are also in development, with Agatha: All Along premiering this coming September. Other planned series include Eyes of Wakanda, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Daredevil: Born Again, Ironheart, a Vision series, and more.
