Pedro Pascal’s Fantastic Four Casting Confirmed by SAG-AFTRA

After plenty of rumors and speculation, it’s been seemingly confirmed that Pedro Pascal will be in Marvel StudiosFantastic Four.

Pedro Pascal’s career retrospective page on the SAG-AFTRA Foundation website seems to have confirmed Pascal’s presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. The page listed some of the star‘s most famous roles, then specifically noted that he will “soon begin production” on Fantastic Four. This comes after months of rumors and scoops that said Pascal had the role of Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic in the MCU.

“Pascal recently wrapped production on Ridley Scott’s highly anticipated Gladiator 2 and will soon begin production on Marvel Studios’ Fantastic Four,” the page reads.

There’s been no shortage of rumors regarding who will play the rest of Marvel’s First Family, with some of the more prominent theories being Vanessa Kirby as The Invisible Woman/Sue Storm, Joseph Quinn as The Human Torch/Johnny Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing/Ben Grimm; however, Marvel has yet to officially confirm any Fantastic Four casting, including Pascal.

Who is directing Fantastic Four?

The MCU’s Fantastic Four reboot was officially announced at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2019. Spider-Man: No Way Home’s Jon Watts was originally attached to direct the movie, though he stepped down in April 2022 and was replaced with WandaVision’s Matt Shakman.

Fantastic Four is currently scheduled to release in United States theaters on May 2, 2025.
