The Flash Star Ezra Miller Arrested At a Karaoke Bar In Hawaii

2022 was supposed to be a good year for Ezra Miller. His next film, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, is out next month, and The Flash was set to arrive in November. However, The Flash was pushed to next year, and now Miller is in legal trouble again. Via Hawaii News Now, Miller was arrested on Sunday, March 28 at a karaoke bar in Hawaii.

According to the report, Miller was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment. “The 29-year-old was allegedly yelling obscenities and became agitated when people began singing karaoke. At one point, police say Miller grabbed the microphone from a 23-year-old woman who was mid-song.” The police also noted that Miller “later lunged at a 32-year-old man playing darts.”

Miller was subsequently released on $500 bail.

This is far from Miller’s first brush with controversy. Miller was arrested on drug possession and disorderly conduct charges in 2011. In 2020, Miller was recorded outside of a bar in Iceland while choking a woman before throwing her to the ground.

Now, the question is whether Miller will face any career fallout for his latest arrest. Even though The Flash won’t be out until June 2023, it’s very unlikely that Warner Bros. would remove Miller from his own film. But potentially, this could make other studios reluctant to give Miller leading roles. Other movie stars have certainly had their own legal problems, and rarely faced lasting adverse effects. It remains to be seen if Miller will escape the consequences as well.
