Spider-Man: No Way Home Passes Black Panther With $704 Million Domestically

Another weekend, another milestone for Spider-Man: No Way Home. Although the Spidey sequel finally fell to #2 at the box office, the the holiday weekend total of $26 million brings its domestic total to $704 million. That moves it past Black Panther’s $700 million as the highest-grossing solo superhero movie domestically. Although “solo” may be a bit of misnomer for various plot reasons. Among superhero films, the only movie with a higher domestic total than No Way Home is Avengers: Endgame with $858 million. Passes Black Panther.

When the international numbers are factored in, No Way Home‘s worldwide total is approximately $1.63 billion. That makes it the third highest-grossing MCU movie after Avengers: Infinity War‘s $2.04 billion and Endgame‘s $2.79 billion. Among all films, No Way Home is now #8 on the list of all-time worldwide box office champions.
