John Krasinski Is Voicing Superman in DC League of Super-Pets

You can’t have Krypto without the Man of Steel. The upcoming DC League of Super-Pets won’t debut in theaters until next year, but it is already piquing fans’ curiosity. We knew that John Krasinski would be part of the project that stars Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart. Today, the A Quiet Place alum took up to his social channels to reveal that he’s dubbing Superman in the upcoming animated movie. Krasinski shared a photo of the Man of Steel flying high side-by-side with Krypto, his faithful super-canine companion.

“Always wanted to do a buddy movie with The Rock,” he wrote. “Well, these are the roles we were born to play! (FYI… [Johnson] is the one with the tongue).”

In DC League of Super-Pets, Hart dubs Ace the Bat-Hound. The cast also includes Marc Maron as Lex Luthor. Kate McKinnon, Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Lyonne, Diego Luna, Keanu Reeves, and Jameela Jamil round out the main cast. Reportedly, Streaky the Super-Cat and Jumpa the Wonder-Kangaroo will show up, but producers haven’t officially confirmed them yet.

The movie debuts in theaters on May 22, 2022.
