The new iteration of Ghostbusters has been delayed a few times, but now it seems ready to haunt theaters. The long-awaited Ghostbusters: Afterlife has been recently pushed back a fourth time, but just for a few days, this time. It will debut on Nov. 19, allowing the fans to get a scare just in time for Thanksgiving. Now, Sony has debuted a couple of brand-new posters for the upcoming film. And both of them tease that some dark skies are ahead for the quiet town of Summerville.
The first one shows the young squad of ghost-catchers portrayed by Stranger Things alum Finn Wolfhard, Logan Kim, Mckenna Grace and Celeste O’Connor. They all are under the aegis of Paul Rudd’s Mr. Grooberson, their teacher. Of course, the never-missing Ecto-1 will accompany the youngsters in their crazy adventures.

The second poster features the squad but from behind. There is one additional member, but it’s hard to say who it is. Perhaps, is Carrie Coon’s Callie. Apparently, the story connects somehow back to the notorious “Manhattan Crossrip” incident in 1984. According to the official description, “in Ghostbusters: Afterlife, when a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.”
