The seedy underbelly of the Marvel Universe is exposed in a new clip from Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. With only a few hours to go until the film premieres, Marvel has released one last clip that finds Simu Liu’s kung fu master entering the world of underground fight clubs. You can check it out for yourself below.
The new clip introduces The Daily Show’s Ronny Chieng as Jon Jon, the club’s promoter. Sporting a fluffy pink mohawk, Jon Jon escorts Shang-Chi and Katy through the club’s packed hallways. Although he’s only there to find his sister, Xialing, Shang somehow gets roped into fighting a match of his own. Fortunately, he’s already a viral video star, most likely due to his livestreamed bus fight. That means he can bypass all the “low-level” fights and advance all the way to the main event: a cage match against an unknown adversary. But before he enters the ring, he’ll have to wait for the Abomination and Wong to finish their own bout.

Tim Roth is returning to provide the voice of the Abomination, marking the first time he’s popped up in the MCU since The Incredible Hulk debuted in 2008. Roth will also play a major role in Marvel’s She-Hulk series on Disney+ next year. Meanwhile, Wong is also set to make an appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home in December.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will hit theaters tonight before opening in wide release tomorrow, September 3.
