In less than a week, fans of The Witcher will learn the story behind Geralt’s mentor, Vesemir, in a new animated film premiering on Netflix. The movie will also introduce a handful of supporting players who helped shape Vesemir into the experienced monster who appears in The Witcher stories. Now, the streamer has unleashed a new set of character posters for The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf to get the introductions out of the way.
Theo James is lending his voice to Vesemir, giving us an early intro to the character. Kim Bodnia will take over the role in The Witcher season 2. Another poster reveals that the film will also explore Vesemir’s childhood, when he felt stifled by his lower social standing. Along the way, we will also meet the sorceress Tetra Gilchrist and Vesemir’s companion, Luka.
