Ever since Stranger Things turned him into a household name, David Harbour has become known for his infamous “dad bod.” And his fans will be happy to know that his figure will be on full display when Black Widow finally arrives next month. While appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Harbour premiered a new clip from the film that shows Alexei Shostakov slipping back into his old Red Guardian uniform.
Black Widow will introduce Red Guardian as Russia’s answer to Captain America. That’s who he was in Marvel’s comic book universe as well. But it’s pretty obvious that Alexei has been out of commission for a while, given the suit’s tight fit. Both Natasha and Yelena Belova can’t help but roll their eyes at how ridiculous he looks. Regardless, he manages to get a round of applause from Melina Vostokoff, even if she hasn’t washed the costume in years.

Harbour also provided an update on the status of Stranger Things 4. During the interview, he revealed that he has another “little stint” left to shoot before filming officially wraps in August. And unfortunately, he’ll need to shave his head again.
Black Widow hits theaters and Disney+ Premier Access on July 9.
