Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Will Utilize The Mandalorian’s The Volume

Two years ago, Lucasfilm unveiled The Volume, a revolutionary video wall technology that helped bring The Mandalorian to life. The Volume’s visual effects can convincingly create alien worlds and landscapes without the cost or burden of location shoots. Now, director Peyton Reed has confirmed that Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will use the same technology.

In a new post on Twitter, Reed shared the news in a post from Pinewood Studios while preparing to film Quantumania. He also demonstrated The Volume’s power by taking a picture of what it looks like from within.

If Quantumania returns to the Quantum Realm, then that would be the ideal way for Reed to revisit that world. However, plot details for the third movie are still under wraps.
