Andy Muschietti Reveals The Flash Logo on the First Day of Production

After years in development Hell and multiple directors, Warner Bros.’ The Flash movie has finally started filming. Director Andy Muschietti officially announced the beginning of production on his Instagram account with a reveal of The Flash logo. He also included a piece of music that was somewhat reminiscent of The Flash‘s TV theme.

The plot of the movie reportedly follows the Flashpoint storyline, as Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) goes back in time to prevent his mother’s murder. However, Barry’s actions unleash unpredictable changes to his timeline.

There’s also a multiverse component to the story, as both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton will reprise their roles as Batman/Bruce Wayne. Additionally, Sasha Calle is making her DC Extended Universe debut as Supergirl.

Kiersey Clemons will reprise her role as Iris West from Justice League. However Ron Livingston will take over the role of Barry’s dad, Henry Allen, from Billy Crudup. Maribel Verdú will play Barry’s mother, Nora Allen. Saoirse-Monica Jackson and Rudy Mancuso have also been cast in the film.

The Flash will hit theaters on November 4, 2022.
