With only a little more than a month left, Zack Snyder’s Justice League is about to rock HBO Max. The marketing campaign for this movie has been incessant since they first announced the director’s cut edition, and it is about to enter its final stage. Recently, director Zack Snyder took to social media to share the first look at Jared Leto’s Joker in his upcoming movie. Leto will reprise his role as the Joker in the DC Extended Universe for the first time since 2016’s Suicide Squad.
In the past, Snyder revealed that he would be making some tweaks to Leto’s look to make him more “road-weary” than in David Ayer’s film. And even though in the freshly released photo Gotham’s Clown Prince of Crime is blurry, it is noticeable that Leto’s appearance is different than what fans saw in 2016. In outline, at least, J0ker’s look appears similar to Joaquin Phoenix in Todd Phillips’ The Joker.

Besides Jared Leto, the original cast from the Justice League movie will reprise their roles, including actors Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, and Ray Fisher, as Batman, Wonder Woman, and Cyborg, respectively. The upcoming Zack Snyder’s Justice League will premiere as a four-hour film on HBO Max on March 18. Originally, the plan was for Snyder’s new cut to be released as four one-hour episodes before the producers changed their minds.
