Nearly six months ago, Ray Fisher accused director Joss Whedon of unprofessional conduct while filming the Justice League reshoots. Fisher, who played Victor Stone/Cyborg in the film, also had a greatly reduced role in Whedon’s cut. Additionally, Fisher accused producers Geoff Johns and Jon Berg of covering for Whedon’s misconduct. Fisher also felt that Warner Bros.’ initial investigation into his charges was unsatisfactory. That’s why WarnerMedia launched a follow up investigation. Now, via Deadline, WarnerMedia has concluded its Justice League investigation.
“WarnerMedia’s investigation into the Justice League movie has concluded and remedial action has been taken,” said WarnerMedia’s Christy Haubegger. Deadline also noted that “high-level Warner Bros executives on the motion picture side were blindsided by tonight’s announcement, and oblivious as to who specifically was receiving punishment in this situation.” The report later mentioned Whedon’s recent departure from his HBO series, The Nevers; which may or may not be related to this outcome.
Fisher was quick to respond to the news on his Twitter account.

Fisher recently shot new scenes as Cyborg for Zack Snyder’s Justice League. But it’s unclear if he will reprise his role for The Flash movie, as originally planned.
