Warner Bros. Releases Official Runtime for Wonder Woman 1984

Wonder Woman 1984 will finally debut in several parts of the world in a couple of weeks. And it looks like the sequel to the 2017 hit Wonder Woman has an official runtime. The latest adventures of Diana Prince will last for 2 hours and 31 minutes, which is ten more minutes than the first installment in the franchise. In the upcoming movie by director Patty Jenkins, Israeli actress Gal Gadot will reprise the role of Diana Prince. The titular heroine will lock horns with Kristen Wiig’s Barbara Ann Minerva, a.k.a. Cheetah, and Pedro Pascal’s Maxwell Lord. Apparently, Jenkins wanted to have as much time as possible to explore the new story involving the Amazonian princess.

In just a few days, the movie will be present at Brazil’s Comic-Con event CCXP. Even though it’s not clear if any cast or crew member will make an appearance for WW84’s panel, fans can expect more news about the movie from the event. In the meantime, former Wonder Woman actress Lynda Carter is already inviting fans to buy tickets or to watch the film on HBO Max at its debut.

In the US, Warner Bros. will release Wonder Woman 1984 on HBO Max on Christmas Day. Unlike Disney+ with Mulan, HBO Max isn’t charging an additional amount to subscribers. At the same time, the movie will hit theatrical where available. The studios have also dropped a shiny new IMAX poster for the film; it’s similar to previous iterations, but not quite the same. Check it out below.
