Earth Is a Frozen Wasteland in George Clooney’s The Midnight Sky Trailer

Something very, very bad happened to Earth in the official trailer for The Midnight Sky. In the upcoming sci-fi movie, our planet is covered in ice, and it seems that a few people have survived the cataclysm that created the frozen wasteland. However, humanity seems to have found a way to survive, even if it means that now people have to live in the Arctic, like George Clooney’s Augustine. But when a space mission is about to return to Earth, Augustine has to do what it takes to alert the unaware astronauts to their home planet’s new condition.

Netflix has released the official trailer for the movie. Watching the first images, the story seems like a mix of elements from SnowpiercerGravity, and 2001: A Space Odyssey. It should be more than enough for sci-fi fans to give it at least a try. You can judge by yourselves and watch The Midnight Sky trailer in the player below.
