Video: 10 Things We Want To See In The Rise of Skywalker
In 2015, Disney and Lucasfilm launched the new Star Wars trilogy with The Force Awakens. Later this week, it will all come to an end with The Rise of Skywalker. Unfortunately, it’s just not going to be enough for director J.J. Abrams to wrap everything up in a perfect bow. The previous film, The Last Jedi, was unexpectedly divisive among Star Wars fans. It’s beloved by some fans and reviled by others. But will that disconnect come to define The Rise of Skywalker as well?
Let’s face it, Episode IX has a lot to live up to. Somehow, this film has appeal to fans on both sides of The Last Jedi divide. That’s in addition to giving both the new trilogy, and the six films before it, a meaningful end. So what’s it going to take to bring the Skywalker Saga to a satisfying conclusion? Well, we’ve got a few ideas about that.

We’d love to see this film remind Star Wars fans why they loved the franchise in the first place. It’s doubtful that Abrams will give us the Expanded Universe shout out that we want.
