Patty Jenkins is Bringing the Wonder Woman 1984 Trailer to CCXP

Surprisingly, it seems like Warner Bros. has kept quiet about Wonder Woman 1984 for most of this year. The last bit of news came this summer when director Patty Jenkins unveiled the first teaser poster. But now, it sounds like Jenkins is ready to show off some footage from the movie. Via Collider, Warner Bros. will conclude December’s Comic Con Experience (CCXP) in São Paulo, Brazil with a panel devoted to the long-awaited sequel. Naturally, this means fans will finally get to see a trailer.

Jenkins confirmed the film’s presence at CCXP on Twitter earlier today.

It’s fitting that Warner Bros. and Jenkins would make this announcement today. After all, October 21 is Wonder Woman Day, commemorating her first appearance in All Star Comics #8 in 1941. Wonder Woman 1984’s CCXP panel will also feature an appearance by the film’s leading lady, Gal Gadot. Of course, not everyone can make the trip to South America for the convention, but this won’t pose an issue. According to Business Wire, the panel will be livestreamed on Twitter, marking the first time that the convention has done this in its five-year history.

Wonder Woman 1984 will close out CCXP on December 8 in Thunder Hall. The film opens in theaters on June 5, 2020.
