Terminator: Dark Fate Clip Brings Sarah Connor Back to the Big Screen

It’s hard to believe that we haven’t seen Linda Hamilton’s Sarah Connor in a Terminator film in almost 30 years. But that all changes early next month when she returns in all her trailblazing glory in Terminator: Dark Fate. Paramount Pictures just released a new clip from the Tim Miller-directed film that re-introduces her in the best way possible.

Featured below, the clip shows Sarah Connor coming across the latest Terminator model (Gabriel Luna) and his T-800-like counterpart. Before they can attack Grace (Mackenzie Davis) and Daniella (Natalia Reyes), Connor shows up and wastes no time in confronting the menacing duo.

Previous trailers have hinted that Dark Fate will continue the story from Terminator 2: Judgment Day, with Connor once again teaming up with Arnold Schwarzenegger’s T-800 (although the latest spot for the movie notes that some people prefer to call him “Carl”.) Edward Furlong, who starred in Judgment Day as John Connor, is also part of the cast. However, his character hasn’t appeared in the trailers just yet.

It’s a brief clip, lasting just under a minute. Regardless, it packs a heaping amount of action, with Connor wielding both a machine gun and a rocket launcher without even batting an eye. But to be fair, she is wearing sunglasses…

Directed by Miller, Terminator: Dark Fate also features the return of original director James Cameron as a producer alongside David Ellison. Cameron also contributed to the story with David S. Goyer, Justin Rhodes, and Billy Ray.

Terminator: Dark Fate opens in theaters on November 1. Are you excited to see Hamilton return to the big screen as Sarah Connor? Let us know in the comments below!
