It Chapter Two’s Final Trailer Promises a Bloodbath

As promised earlier in the week, Warner Bros. debuted the final trailer for It Chapter Two just in time for San Diego Comic-Con. And based on what it has in store, the end of Pennywise the Clown won’t be a pretty one. The full trailer is below. In it, fans get a taste of what awaits the Losers Club as they make their return to the town of Derry.

Following their actions 27 years prior in the original It film, they come back as adults, fulfilling a blood oath they previously kept. Upon learning that Pennywise isn’t dead, they vow to stop him once and for all. However, they soon realize he’s become stronger than ever before – and he remembers everything they’ve done to him.

Andy Muschietti once again returns to the director’s chair for the follow-up, setting a familiar tone for those that saw the first film. The trailer promises lots of intense moments, as well as a heaping amount of bloodshed. In fact, one scene already promises to be the bloodiest of all time – and the trailer provides a possible hint of what’s in store.

Bill Skarsgard once again makes his return as Pennywise the Clown. The adult Losers Club includes James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, James Ramsone, and Andy Bean. However, the kid Losers Club will also return, appearing through flashbacks over the course of the film.

The original It made over $700 million worldwide at the box office. So it’s likely that It Chapter Two should repeat that success when it releases on September 6.
