Earlier this week, Marvel and Disney released Captain Marvel on digital outlets. Fans holding out for the Blu-ray are gonna have to wait until June 11. In the meantime, Disney Home Video has shared “Heading to Torfa,” one of the deleted scenes from the film. It’s a fairly innocuous sequence with Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) as Vers, the persona she adopted on the Kree homeworld, Hala. After Carol’s memory was wiped, she spent six years as Vers fighting alongside her Starforce teammates. While most of that backstory took place off-screen, the video does shed a little bit more light on Vers’ relationship with her teammates.
Minn-Erva (Gemma Chan) and Korath (Djimon Hounsou) tease Vers about a previous incident in which she ignored the “stealth” part of her mission. Minn-Erva admitted to hating Vers late in the film, so she was probably being passive-aggressive here. Att-Lass (Algenis Pérez Soto) was Vers’ only teammate who seemed emotionally upset about fighting her in the climax. As for Bron-Char (Rune Temte), no one seems to be interested in bantering with him.

Jude Law’s Yon-Rogg also appears in the scene as he briefs Starforce about their mission to extract a Kree operative. Yon-Rogg even seems to be defending Vers from her teammates’ barbs. But as revealed in the movie, he had a self-serving reason to keep Vers’ loyal to him and the Supreme Intelligence.
