The character first appears in the third episode of the series during her uncle Hector’s trial. She was devastated after Hector’s death and is seen getting mad at the doctor who conducted the latter’s post-mortem.
Matt Murdock is also in the scene trying to comfort her. Angela wants justice for her uncle and tells the blind attorney, “My uncle, two days before he got shot, you know what he told me? He told me, ‘Don’t rely on anyone to do what you can do for yourself.” Matt assures the young girl that someone will delve deep into her uncle’s death, suggesting he will provide justice to Hector.
