Creature Commandos Episode 7’s End-Credits Scene Explained

The Creature Commandos finale has finally aired and it includes a post-credits/end-credits scene heavily revolving around a specific character. Accordingly, fans are wondering what happens in the after-credits of the DC animated show.

Without further ado, here’s an explanation of the Creature Commandos Episode 7 post-credits/end-credits scene.

Who appears in Creature Commandos Episode 7’s end-credits scene?

The Creature Commandos Episode 7 post-credits scene reveals that Eric Frankenstein survived after he was seemingly repeatedly shot dead and spit on by the Bride at the episode’s conclusion.

In the scene, Frankenstein is shown sitting at a table drinking soup with an old gypsy lady while covered in blood-soaked bandages. Here, he tells the lady that the Bride’s attempt to kill him only meant she had feelings for him, something which the latter constantly and vehemently rejected throughout the season.

However, Frankenstein suddenly asks the lady about the soup they are having, which she mentions is “sparrow-dropping soup.” This prompts him to remark that the soup is disgusting. Frankenstein’s survival only means that he will continue his futile romantic pursuit of the Bride in the upcoming Season 2.

All seven episodes of Creature Commandos are currently streaming on HBO Max. The story follows the titular group, an ensemble of monstrous creations, who go on dangerous, high-stakes missions for Amanda Waller and the US Government, which ordinary humans cannot undertake. In the first season, the team attempts to stop Amazonian sorceress Circe from taking over Pokolistan.

James Gunn created the series and wrote all 7 episodes, with Sam Liu and Matt Peters, alternating each episode as director. In addition to creating the series, Gunn executive produced it alongside Peter Safran. Creature Commandos is the first installment and series of his rebooted DC Universe.

Indira Varma, Sean Gunn, Alan Tudyk, Zoe Chao, David Harbour, and Frank Grillo make up the animated series’ principal cast. Supporting cast members include Maria Bakalova, Viola Davis, Julian Kostov, Anya Chalotra, Steve Agee, and Stephanie Beatriz.
