Dragon Man Timed Preorder Figure Now up at Hasbro Pulse

As teased at Comic-Con, Dragon Man is ready for you to shut up and give him your credit card. Not quite huge enough to be a HasLab, but significantly larger than even most deluxe Marvel Legends figures, the reptilian android is available now through Oct. 17th until he goes back in the vault. The price tag is $84.99, with delivery expected next August, shortly after the final version presumably shows up at San Diego Comic-Con 2025.

Drag King

Designed to be in proper scale to the other 1:12 Marvel Legends figures, Dragon Man stands 10 inches tall and 17.5 inches wide when his wings are fully spread. He comes with alternate spread wings and collapsed wings, interchangeable hands, reading glasses, and a Future Foundation book to read.

An android built by college professor Gregson Gilbert, Dragon Man didn’t come to life until the involvement of a 9th-century alchemist whose name — Diablo — ought to have been a major red flag. Dragon Man promptly attacked the Fantastic Four and over the years has been manipulated by other forces towards more misdeeds. Whether or not you know any of that backstory, the fact also remains that he’s a really cool anthropomorphic dragon figure who should play well with larger fantasy characters as well.

Hasbro’s team told us at Comic-Con that it’s always possible they could bring Dragon Man back in the future if he does well. Unlike a HasLab, there’s no compelling reason to make him limited forever. However, the odds of that happening are small if he doesn’t do well the first time, so don’t count on that rerelease being a guarantee if you really want him.

Take a look at some more images down below, including a scale picture with a Reed Richards figure (not included), and then decide if you need him next summer.
