SDCC 2024: Next 3 DST House of the Dragon Figures Revealed

Diamond Select‘s first wave of House of the Dragon action figures isn’t even out yet, but on preview night of Comic-Con 2024, the company revealed all of wave 2 and half of wave 3. For the second wave, we’re getting Rhaenyra Targaryen (older version) and Aemond. In wave 3, a new and more casual Daemon will make for the second variant of Matt Smith’s dubious character.

Eyes up

Aemond, the eyepatch-wearing troublemaker who arguably causes the whole ensuing war, includes multiple heads to showcase his bejeweled eye as well as his patch. It looks like his jacket can also come off too. Rhaenyra wears the crown that is rightfully hers, and sports some might shoulder blades beneath those robes.

So who’s left to partner with Daemon in series 3, alongside that dragon egg? Perhaps Lord Corlys or Queen Rhaenys? We can but guess. Alicent seems a surprisingly long way off, however.

Stay tuned to Superhero Hype all this week for further info and reveals from Diamond. How much farther can this line go? Will there be dragons? We certainly intend to find out as best we can for you. One wonders what kind of twisted Doctor Who figures these toys will lead to. Or how they’d fare when pitted against Diamond Select’s Lord of the Rings action figures.

No dates are yet set but expect to pay $29.99 for each figure. That’s fairly standard for Diamond figures these days, and of course, many of these characters could be dead on Tv by the time you get them in hand. If that’s the case, remember them for how they lived, loved…and, yeah, mostly hated. That’s Westeros for you.
