Lara Croft will enter the world of Magic: The Gathering thanks to the upcoming Secret Lair x Tomb Raider set.
M:TG developer Wizards of the Coast confirmed the collaboration on its official Magic: The Gathering website. The set comes with six cards and a new treasure token. Five cards are reprints of some previously released in Magic with redesigned art by Jonas De Ro, Bartek Fedyczak, Eliz Roxs, and Greg Staples. However, the Lara Croft card is new and mechanically unique for M:TG.

Tomb Raider marks one of several crossovers with major IPs announced by Wizards of the Coast in recent months. This year, Magic: The Gathering collaborated with Doctor Who for a special series of Commander decks to celebrate the show’s 60th anniversary. It also launched a massive Lord of the Rings set, which included a one-of-a-kind One Ring card to emulate the legendary item’s singularity. Magic: The Gathering has several more crossovers in the pipeline. Upcoming releases include Assassin’s Creed, Final Fantasy, and Marvel.
Magic players interested in purchasing the Tomb Raider set must get it directly from the official Secret Lair shop. It comes in two versions: non-foil for $39.99 and traditional foil for $49.99. While it isn’t up for pre-sale, collectors can sign up for notification when it becomes available. The limited-time release launches on November 20 at 9 a.m. PST.
