Netflix Is Offering Fans Free Tattoos for Geeked Week

If you’ve always wanted a tattoo that proclaims your love of a Netflix series like Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Sandman, or The Witcher, the Tudum Geeked Week promotional event has you covered.

Streaming giant Netflix is partnering with tattoo artists in five US cities for Geeked Ink, an opportunity to get free ink in one of a number of select designs specific to each pop-up shop. Geeked Ink will run from November 6 to 12, with participants strongly encouraged to sign up on the site for a slot beforehand, although some first-come, first-serve walk-ins may be considered. Naturally, anyone receiving a tattoo will be required to sign a waiver and show proof of age.

What kind of tattoo can you get at Netflix’s Geeked Ink?

Flash sheets for each of the Geeked Ink locations are shown on the site so that fans can select a design ahead of time. Some focus on a single property, like Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, while some have a collection of characters, symbols, or logos from multiple shows including Wednesday and Stranger Things. The designs are also varied, from intricate portraits to subtle shapes that only a fellow Squid Game fan would recognize. Participants cannot request customization or different art for their tattoos.

Geeked Week is an annual week-long event held by Netflix to promote and celebrate its “geeky” properties, those with sci-fi, fantasy, or supernatural elements. Most aspects of Geeked Week can be viewed online, such as trailer drops, first looks, and cast and crew interviews.

In addition to the fan favorites represented in the Geeked Ink flash sheets, this year’s Geeked Week promises to highlight new shows and movies like 3 Body Problem, Exploding Kittens, and Jurassic World: Chaos Theory. There will also be returning favorites like The Umbrella Academy and The Dragon Prince, and undoubtedly a few surprises. A full lineup can be seen on Netflix’s official Geeked Week site.
