Any time a snazzy new trooper shows up in a Star Wars movie or show, it’s a safe bet to become one of the first new toys from that story. And if they’re bad guys dressed in black, even better. The Purge Troopers made Obi-Wan Kenobi‘s Stormtrooper squadrons more badass than usual, and their fashion choices match those of the Inquisitors they’re trained to accompany. Who knows if their armor offers extra protection against the Force users they track down — but it can’t hurt. Naturally, Hot Toys got on the case immediately, and today present their rendition of the Purge Troopers.

Per the official description: “The collectible figure is meticulously crafted with a detailed helmet and armor in black and red paint applications, a form-fitting under-suit, a red pauldron, a blaster rifle, and a figure base!” At $235, it comes in at the low end of what Hot Toys figures usually run. Expect delivery any time between a year and 18 months from now. As always, Sideshow Collectibles allows for payment plans.
