Fans who attend Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge have the opportunity to build their own lightsabers, or collect some of the iconic lightsabers from the franchise. This Friday, Galaxy’s Edge is adding another lightsaber to its lineup. Via the Disney Parks blog, the next one is Cal Kestis’ lightsaber from the 2019 video game, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. And who better to model the new lightsaber than Cameron Monaghan? After all, Monaghan portrayed Cal in the game.

According to the Disney Parks blog, Cal’s lightsaber won a most-wanted lightsaber poll in 2020. So this has been in the works for a while. And Monaghan was invited to Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge for a closer look.

Within the lore of Jedi: Fallen Order, Cal’s weapon was originally a dual-bladed lightsaber owned by his master, Jaro Tapal. However, one of the blades was broken before Cal acquired the lightsaber. Regardless, fans at Galaxy’s Edge who purchase this model will also get a dual lightsaber adapter. That means you can make it a dual-bladed model again.
Cal’s lightsaber will available at Galaxy’s Edge in both Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort. Additionally, there are rumors that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 may be announced in May. But for now, the rumor has not been confirmed.
