First Book of Boba Fett Figures Unveiled, Plus Mandalorian Deluxe Sets

Almost a year since his return to live-action, Hasbro has finally revealed the first action figure of a re-armored Boba Fett. Based on his look during The Mandalorian season 2’s post-credits tease, it’s the “dad-bod” Boba with armor over his desert robes. He’s one of two Book of Boba Fett figures officially revealed today. The other, Fennec Shand, leaked via several retailers in recent weeks.

Boba and Fennec arrive in the six-inch Star Wars Black Series, but they’re not alone. Four deluxe figure sets in the 3-3/4 inch Vintage Collection from The Mandalorian will join them. The ever-popular Grogu, easy to lose because he’s so small, appears in three of them. In one set, Mando and Grogu come with the spidery ice Krykna of Maldo Kreis. In another, the pint-size Jedi wanna-be teams with a cloaked Ahsoka. For the third, he deflects a wall of flame from the Incinerator Trooper. The fourth deluxe figure set features a Stormtrooper with E-Web laser cannon.

All of these figures except Fennec go up for preorder at all major retailers at 10 a.m. Pacific tomorrow, Wednesday, Dec 8. Boba will cost more than usual, like the recent Cobb Vanth — extra deco means a $31.49 price tag. Fennec, with removable helmet and at the new normal $22.99 price, is available now.
