Disney Reveals Which Marvel Stars Filmed Scenes For Avengers: Quantum Encounter

Next year, the Disney Wish will embark on its maiden voyage and give guests the opportunity to visit the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Avengers: Quantum Encounter, an MCU-themed dining experience featuring appearances by a handful of Marvel characters. The attraction will primarily involve Ant-Man and the Wasp, but it looks like the pint-sized duo are bringing some of their allies along for the ride.

The official Disney Parks blog just revealed which MCU alumni shot new footage for Quantum Encounter. Naturally, Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly are at the top of the list. But they will also be joined by Anthony Mackie as Captain America and Brie Larson as Captain Marvel. We can also expect to hear the familiar disembodied voices of Kerry Condon as F.R.I.D.A.Y. and Ross Marquand reprising his What If…? role as Ultron. According to the blog post, the actors have already wrapped their scenes.

Disney previously announced Quantum Encounter earlier this year. When guests visit the ship’s Worlds of Marvel eatery, they will watch as Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne begin showcasing several pieces of Avengers memorabilia along with the latest Pym Tech inventions. However, it isn’t long before Ultron crashes the party with an army of robot sentries in an effort to steal their technology. The heroes will subsequently call on the diners for help as they try to keep the villains at bay.

The blog post also hints that one more hero will make a “surprise appearance” during the show. Additionally, the studio shared some new key art for the experience, which you can view below.

The Disney Wish will set sail sometime in 2022.
