The Halcyon’s maiden voyage is only a few months away. After teasing the attraction for three years, Disney World’s long-awaited Star Wars hotel experience has finally set a launch date. The studio announced today that guests will be able to board Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser starting on March 1, 2022.
Disney also confirmed that general bookings for the hotel will open on October 28. However, the stay won’t be cheap. Prices for the full voyage start out at $4,809 for two guests and go all the way up to $5,999 for a family of four. The package includes a two-night stay in a cabin or suite and also covers food, beverages, and a bonus trip to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to visit the Outer Rim world of Batuu.

Galactic Starcruiser gives the most die-hard Star Wars fans the chance to live out their most detailed cosmic fantasy. Over the course of their stay, visitors can partake in a wide variety of Star Wars experiences. They can train with their very own lightsaber, sample an array of intergalactic cuisine, and engage with several alien species from the franchise’s big-screen adventures. And of course, guests can choose to ally themselves with the Jedi or the First Order.
The hotel’s launch will also throw in an exclusive Galactic Starcruiser databand. As the name implies, this is a new version of Disney World’s infamous MagicBands. Guests can use these to access different areas once they step aboard the Halcyon.
