Here’s a deep-cut Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figure nobody probably expected. Danny Pennington, the Foot Clan recruit who sees the error of his ways in the 1990 live-action movie. Danny was played by unknown actor Michael Turley, in his only major role, now a horror movie director. The action figure includes two heads — with and without Foot Clan headband– walkman, and a nicely detailed Sid Vicious shirt.
Danny is one of five NECA figures who’ll be Loot Crate exclusives this year, available only in themed crates loaded with other TMNT merchandise. Like last year, there will be four distinct crates — movie, video game, Mirage comics, and ’90s cartoon. Purchase all four and get the bonus fifth figure. Loot Crate only teased the others by silhouettes. But according to information in a Tweet confirmed by NECA, they are:

Decide quickly, because the crates will only preorder for a month. Last year’s Loot Crate figures, including Easter Bunny Bebop and Rocksteady, as well as a glow-in-the-dark electrocuted Turtle, left many fans disappointed they hadn’t acted faster.
