LEGO Presents the Largest Star Wars Cantina Set Ever

Watch your step. This pace can be a little rough…to build! To start with, finding the space for the Master Builder Series LEGO Mos Eisley cantina is a challenge in and of itself. Not only is this close to a scale replica of the Star Wars cantina as seen onscreen, but it folds out to reveal full interior detail. Plus it includes the Jawa shop across the street, a landspeeder, a Dewback, and a larger buildabe droid. Need to populate the space? Twenty-one minifigs are included, among them some deep cuts like Labria the Devaronian, diminutive drinker Kabe, and Saurin droid trader Hrchek Kal Fas. (Alas, only three of the Modal Nodes band show up.) Chewie comes with a stud-shooting crossbow.

Tiny details include hidden kyber crystals, and a wanted poster featuring Artoo and Threepio. The final model stands at over 7.5” (19cm) high, 20.5” (52cm) wide and 23” (58cm) deep when opened. No word at this stage whether or not Ponda Baba’s arm pops off for a PG rating.

According to the press release, “The LEGO Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina construction set will be available for LEGO VIP members from 16th September and then globally from 1st October, directly via LEGO.com and LEGO Stores.” Expect a price tag of $350 for all that Tatooine-y goodness in one box.
