Starting Saturday, individual toy companies will start showing off their wares to retail buyers for the rest of the year. But in a special pre-Toy Fair event, Lucasfilm just held a showcase of all the various products that The Mandalorian has inspired for later in 2020. Amid the expected barrage of T-shirts, standees, costumes, board games, and even breakfast cereal, a handful of new collectibles really stood out. Notably, the LEGO Razor Crest.
A buildable version of the show’s signature ship felt inevitable, but the toy going all out is a bonus. Features include “a big cargo hold for carbonite bounty, spring-loaded shooters, escape pod… and even a bed to get some rest!” In addition to featuring the first LEGO Baby Yoda minifig, the set includes dubious babysitter droid IG-11 and Carl Weathers’ Greef Carga. Even Jason Sudeikis’ baby-punching Scout Trooper is here, just so the ship can have an easily hissable villain to shoot at. We don’t yet know the price, and we don’t want to think about it yet.

LEGO also has a set of Brick Headz — their take on the Funko Pop style — featuring the Child and his adopted dad Djin. But if that’s not lifelike enough, Hasbro has something to show…

Yes, it’s an animatronic baby Yoda, which can be seen in motion in the video above! Per the official description:
Touching the top of THE CHILD’S head activates over 25 sound and motion combinations, including happy and excited sounds, giggles, babbles, and more, all while the toy’s head moves up and down, ears move back and forth, and eyes open and close. Boys and girls can pretend to harness the power of the Force as THE CHILD toy closes its eyes, raises its arm, and sighs as if exerting a great amount of energy. Lay THE CHILD toy down and it will close its eyes and take a “Force nap.” Includes figure and Mandalorian pendant.
The animatronic figure should show up for preorder at your favorite online retailer later today. The LEGO Razor Crest has no official ETA yet, but we should know more after LEGO reveals all over the weekend.
