Superhero Hype’s Best Amazon Deals For June 4, 2019

Another week means another fresh pot of Amazon deals ready for the chompin’. Amazon once again delivers a hefty number of slash jobs on an array of books, but the discounts don’t stop there. Enough stalling, let’s dig into Superhero Hype’s best Amazon deals for June 4, 2019.

X-Men: The Dark Phoenix Saga

Dark Phoenix’s theatrical release is imminent, and it’s based on one of the best remembered stories in the vast history of the X-Men. Opinions may be somewhat mixed about the film ahead of its debut, but its source material received universal praise. Chris Claremont’s tale of absolute power and corruption remains a seminal Jean Grey moment, and Amazon is offering the nine-issue run for free with a Kindle Unlimited subscription.

The Umbrella Academy

Gerard Way has dipped much more than a toe into the comics world over the last decade, but The Umbrella Academy remains his most revered piece to date. The book’s live-action adaptation proved popular enough for Netflix to greenlight a second season. The Hargreeves family clearly has staying power, and now readers can grab the complete series, including the upcoming Hotel Oblivion, at a 33% discount.

Spider-Gwen Animated Statue

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse provided plenty of memorable moments. Why not add a physical memento to compliment those metaphysical ones? Something like this limited edition Spider-Gwen animated statue. Such a well-crafted piece is a great addition for any fan. A 22% discount doesn’t hurt either.

Lego Marvel Collection

Reading and watching the adventures of the Marvel universe is fun, but interacting with those worlds is next level. While the world eagerly awaits details on the forthcoming Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 and Marvel’s Avengers, Amazon is offering the Lego Marvel Collection at a $20 discount. The collection includes Lego Marvel Super Heroes, Lego Marvel’s Avengers and Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2. It’s a trio of titles that might be more kid-friendly but still provide plenty of fun ahead of those eagerly awaited titles.

Green Lantern: The Sinestro Corps War

Several of Geoff Johns’ stories appear to be on sale through Amazon’s Kindle and ComixOlogy. The Sinestro Corps War stands out as a highlight from Johns’ Green Lantern run. It further elevated Sinestro as a galactic threat, and it set the stage for Blackest Night. But if The Flash is more your speed, then perhaps Flashpoint is the book for you.
