Paramount Home Entertainment’s G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, which grossed $150.2 million in theaters, was the top DVD and Blu-ray Disc seller and rental in its debut week.
“G.I. Joe” sold 3.8 million discs in North America, 500,000 of them on Blu-ray.
The title marks the third-biggest title so far this year in first-week sales, behind Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Twilight.
