Entertainment Weekly is reporting that The CW has decided to turn “Smallville’s” upcoming Justice Society-themed two-parter into a two hour movie event airing on January 29.
Written by Geoff Johns, the episodes – titled “Society” and “Legends” and featuring such DC Comics stalwarts as Stargirl, Hawkman, and Dr. Fate – were originally designed to air separately.
Scooper ‘CW Insider’ also tells us that The CW gave the two-parter a huge budget upgrade.
